Mesotherapy

Superficial microinjections are made to the appropriate tissues just below the epidermal layer of the skin, in order to stimulate the mesoderm layer, which is approximately 1 mm below the surface, and to stimulate the natural regeneration and proliferation process of the hair.

For decades, mesotherapy treatment has been used to add shine and volume to thinned hair, and also to strengthen the scalp of both men and women who have baldness or Alopecia Areata.

Most of the hair loss problems are caused by lack of nutrients, decreased blood circulation to the scalp, and hormonal imbalances around the hair follicles.

Mesotherapy solution, which is used for hair restoration treatments and injected into the scalp, contains a special combination of certain chemicals, minerals, amino acids, vitamins, nucleic acids and co-enzymes that are tailored to the needs of the patient.

Mesotherapy applies a double action process that uses both chemical and mechanical stimulation to the affected area.

The needle used to apply the solution creates micro-holes in the affected tissue that initiates a healing process where collagen and elastin are produced. These substances are two building blocks within tissue that are vital for healthy skin and hair growth.

Active ingredients administered by microinjection stimulate the appropriate response in the mesoderm according to the condition being treated. The quality of the product is extremely important for the procedure’s result.

The treatment procedure and duration may vary from patient to patient. A session usually takes about 10-30 minutes, depending on the size of the area requiring treatment.                                        

Normally, the beginning of the treatment (for the first 2-3 months) starts with an intensive course of treatment every 2 weeks. A minimum of 10 sessions are required to create optimum conditions on the scalp to promote hair growth. Hair loss may occur after treatment. The frequency of treatments is every 3 months or less.
